Styling & Outfit Ideas for Boston Boudoir Sessions

This playful boudoir session with Jenny was captured at my Reading, Massachusetts boudoir studio, serving clients throughout Boston and the North Shore. Some sessions stick with you long after the shoot—and this one is definitely a favorite.

One of the highlights of the day was watching Jenny completely transform our model from casual to boudoir-ready. Believe it or not, she walked in with straight hair! Seeing that transformation unfold is always a little magical, and it’s a perfect reminder of how professional hair, makeup, and styling elevate every Boston boudoir session.

We spent the session bouncing around the studio, taking advantage of multiple sets and soaking up all the beautiful natural light as it shifted through the space. Every corner felt inspiring, and the variety we captured in one shoot still makes me smile.

This session also deserves credit for something iconic—it’s the shoot that officially made the denim Daisy Dukes a staple in the client closet. They’re playful, flattering, and endlessly versatile.
