A New Floral Backdrop for Our Reading Boudoir Studio
I’m so excited to introduce the newest floral backdrop at my Reading, Massachusetts boudoir studio, designed to bring light, romance, and a soft fashion-forward feel to every session. This airy set blends dreamy pastels with intentional design, making it perfect for boudoir photography, bridal portraits, maternity sessions, and more.
One of my favorite parts of running a Boston-area boudoir studio is dreaming up ways to transform the space—and it’s been a little while since I added something new. This floral backdrop was absolutely worth the wait, and I can’t wait to see it in action during boudoir sessions at the studio.
Creating a Dreamy, Romantic Set
This backdrop came to life through a creative collaboration with Tara. Together, we designed a custom floral installation that feels fresh, romantic, and perfectly at home in the studio. We leaned into light, airy aesthetics with soft pinks and pastels—tones that photograph beautifully and complement a wide range of skin tones and outfits.
One of my favorite details? We built the installation on a repurposed clothing rack already part of the studio. I love when fashion and design overlap, and this felt like the perfect way to blend the two. Taking something familiar and turning it into something unexpected made the process feel extra special—and very on-brand for the studio.
A Backdrop That Works With Every Look
The pink and pastel color palette was chosen intentionally. It pairs effortlessly with pieces from the studio wardrobe, making it easy for clients to mix and match outfits for boudoir sessions, bridal portraits, or maternity photography.
