A New Floral Dream for the Studio
I’m so excited to introduce the newest addition to my Reading boudoir studio—a custom floral backdrop designed to bring light, romance, and a soft fashion-forward feel to your session. This airy new set blends dreamy pastels with intentional design, making it perfect for boudoir, bridal portraits, maternity sessions, and more.
One of my favorite parts of owning a boudoir studio is getting to dream up new ways to transform the space—and it’s been a little while since I’ve added something new. That said, this one was so worth the wait. I’m beyond excited to finally share our newest floral backdrop, and I already know it’s going to be the setting for so much magic.
This backdrop came to life through a creative collaboration with Tara, and together we designed a custom piece of floral art that feels fresh, romantic, and perfectly at home in the studio. We leaned into a light, airy aesthetic with soft pinks and dreamy pastels—tones that photograph beautifully and complement a wide range of skin tones and outfits.
One of my absolute favorite details? We built the entire installation on a clothing rack that’s already been part of the studio. I love when fashion and design overlap, and this felt like the perfect way to blend the two. Repurposing something familiar into something unexpected made the process even more special—and very on brand for the studio.
The color palette was chosen intentionally. These pinks and pastels pair effortlessly with so many pieces in the studio wardrobe, making it easy for clients to mix, match, and create looks that feel cohesive and elevated. Whether styled with soft lingerie, structured pieces, or flowing fabrics, the backdrop adds a romantic glow without overpowering the subject.
While I absolutely adore this set for boudoir sessions, I don’t want to stop there. I’m already envisioning it as a stunning option for bridal portraits, with delicate whites and lace, or for maternity sessions, where softness and emotion really shine. It’s one of those sets that can shift moods depending on how it’s styled—and that versatility is everything.
I can’t wait to see how clients make this space their own and what beautiful stories unfold here. This backdrop is officially ready, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a favorite for a long time to come. 🌸✨
