Still a Favorite: Timeless Boudoir from Jenny’s Studio

Looking back at sessions from a few years ago always reminds me just how timeless a clean, simple look can be. These images from Jenny’s studio are still some of my absolute favorites.

What I love most about this set is the effortless, uncluttered feel. Clean lines, beautiful light, and intentional styling allow the focus to stay exactly where it should—on the subject. It’s a style I always come back to because it never goes out of fashion.

We played with a variety of textures when it came to the outfits—velvet, lace, structured tulle—and the best part? Most of these pieces are still available in the client closet today. It’s a great reminder that thoughtfully chosen wardrobe staples truly stand the test of time.

Another favorite detail from this session is how not everything is “matchy-matchy.” Different tones, textures, and styles work together effortlessly, and this session is proof that outfits don’t have to perfectly coordinate to look intentional and beautiful. Sometimes, mixing things up is exactly what makes the images feel natural and authentic.

These photos are a reminder that simple can still be powerful—and that classic styling will always have a place in the studio.
